We provide diagnosis and therapy of visual impairments resulting from brain damage. Diagnosis comprises:
anamnesis: recording and analyzing the patient`s ophthalmological history
assessment of visual acuity and subjective refraction
orthoptics: oculomotor function, binocular vision etc.
perimetrics, including assessment of reading dysfunction due to hemianopia
color vision
contrast vision
visual neglect
Treatment and counseling are chiefly geared for patients who suffer from impairment of visual acuity, oculomotor dysfunction, visual field dysfunction, and visual neglect.
